Guidelines for Good Natured Fun on the Frio
Welcome to Camp Cold Springs, your new favorite escape on the Frio River! We're thrilled to host you in our brand new Hill Country cabins. To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay for all our "Happy Campers" in this beautiful, natural setting, please follow these simple guidelines.

Check-In / Check-Out
Please check-in at the front office upon arrival to receive your wristbands and vehicle passes. If you are arriving late, please inform the front desk for further instructions. You must be 21 years or older to make a reservation.
RV Check-in 1 PM | Check-out: 11 AM
Cabin Check-in 4PM | Check-out: 10AM

Occupancy & Comfort
To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, each unit has a maximum occupancy limit. This limit applies to all persons on the premises, including overnight guests, day visitors, and children of any age.
Hill Country Lodges: Maximum occupancy is 20 people.
Getaway Cabins: Maximum occupancy is 4 people.
RV Sites: Maximum occupancy is 8 people.
RV’s base daily rate is for four (4) people. Each additional person is $4 per person, per night.
You will receive wristbands at check-in to wear while on the property. Please help us maintain a safe and exclusive experience for registered guests by respecting these limits.

Pets - Bringing Your Frio River Friends
We dig our four-legged friends! You can include your pet as part of your family's memorable stay by following a few simple guidelines to keep everyone safe and happy.
Heads Up: Notify the office prior to arrival that you will be bringing pets and provide description, weight and breed of each pet.
Pet Limits & Fees: A max of one (1) pet is allowed per Getaway Cabin and two (2) pets for a Hill Country Lodge or RV site. There is a fee of $50 per pet per night for cabins and $2.50 per night for RV Sites.
A fine of $150 will be assessed for not complying with the pet policy
Deposit for Pets in Cabins: A $150 incidental deposit will be held until after check-out and cabin inspection. Please note that additional charges may be assessed for any damage found.
Pet Pointers (Stay Frio, Fido):
Pets must be on a leash and under the owner's control at all times when outdoors.
For the health and safety of all, pets are not allowed in the pool area or in the pool.
Pets may not be left unattended in your cabin unless they are securely kept in a kennel or crate and will not cause a disturbance (excessive barking or whining).
Please keep all pets off the furniture and do not use cabin linens or kitchenware for your pet.
Owners are responsible for immediately collecting and properly disposing of all pet waste. A charge of $100 per incident will apply for violations.
Owners must have current shot records in their possession while on the property.
Should a pet display aggressive behavior or disturb other guests, management reserves the right to require the pet's immediate removal from the property. Camp Cold Springs assumes no liability, implied or otherwise, for the actions of any animal.

Registered guests (including RV sites) may have day visitors, provided your unit's maximum occupancy is not exceeded.
If your site is already at max occupancy, we welcome your friends to join you at our onsite bar!
All day visitors must register at the office upon arrival and wear a wristband while on the property.
Visitor Fees: $20/person/day for cabin guests and $10/person/day for RV guests.
Visitors: visiting registered guests may not bring any pets.
Vehicle Fee: Each visitor vehicle is $5/day.
Guest Hours: Day visitor hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Vehicles & Parking
Please register all vehicles at the office and display your parking tag at all times.
Vehicle Limits:
RV space: one (1) vehicle
Getaway Cabin: two (2) vehicles
Hill Country Lodge: four (4) vehicles
Any additional vehicles must be parked in our designated overflow parking areas.
Only road-legal vehicles are allowed on the property roads. E-bikes and scooters are permitted but must adhere to the property speed limit and stay on the roads. No personal ATVs or golf carts are allowed.
A daily fee of $20 will be applied to any vehicle not complying with the parking policy.

Respect Your Neighbors
Noise: Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am. All outdoor music should be turned off during this period.
Music: Car stereos and amplified music are not allowed anywhere on the property. Any music must be played quietly for the enjoyment of only people in your immediate vicinity.
Respect your neighbors' enjoyment concerning noise and lights.
Stay on marked paths: Do not cut through other guests' sites when walking or driving around on property.
Respect Your Cabin:We kindly ask that you leave our brand new cabins as you found them. Fees may be assessed for excessive cleaning or damage, including but not limited to staining or tearing linens, damaging furniture, leaving dirty dishes, and littering.
Seafood: For the comfort of all, seafood may only be stored in personal ice chests and cooked outside.
Grease Disposal: Please do not pour cooking oil or grease down the drains. Be mindful when cooking outside to avoid staining the concrete or outdoor landscaping.
Trash: All trash must be taken out and placed in the outside trash receptacle.
Respect Your RV Site:
Trash: Place your trash at the end of your site, we will make rounds throughout the day. Trash must be bagged. Do not leave any trash in or around your site overnight. We cannot dispose of canopies/furniture and/or larger items, household trash only. A designated time will be provided at check in for final trash runs.
Texas law requires that sewer hoses are connected using a threaded connector or rubber donut.
Protect Our Environment:
Fires & BBQ: Fires are allowed only in designated burn pits. Please check the County website for the most up-to-date information on burn bans. Fires are not allowed on windy days. Our property staff will clean the fire and BBQ pits to ensure safe disposal of coals.
Prohibited Items: For safety and to preserve the natural environment, the following are prohibited: fireworks, firearms, BB guns, slingshots, water balloons, pinatas, and cascarones.
Fishing: To preserve the beauty and health of our river's ecosystem, all fishing is catch and release only. Please use only barbless hooks and keep your casting nets at home. The possession, cleaning, or storage of any harvested fish, game, or aquatic life on commercial property is strictly prohibited.
Smoking Policy:
Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, vapes, etc.) is prohibited inside the cabins, bath house and the pool area.
Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only, away from common gathering spots.
Please help us prevent fire risk and littering by disposing of all cigarette butts properly in designated receptacles. A fee of $250 will be assessed for violations of the indoor/pool area ban or improper disposal.

Deposits & Cancellations
The deposit required to confirm your reservation is 50% of the total base rate for your stay before tax. The balance of the rental will be due 45 days before your arrival date. Any extra fees will be assessed upon departure.
Late arrivals and early departures are charged for the entire reserved stay. Cancellations made 45 days or more before arrival are entitled to a 75% refund of the deposit. Any extra amount paid toward the rental will be returned in full. If you cancel less than 45 days before your arrival date, you will not receive a refund of any money that you have already paid toward the rental.
Cancellations must be made by phone to avoid any misunderstanding.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER OR RIVER CONDITIONS.
